The attack on civil society continues in Canada with the decision by the federal Liberals to ban “assault-style” weapons in the wake of the Nova Scotia massacre. We first begin by taking a critical look at the Liberal gun ban, and if it will actually be effective. The Trudeau government continues to infringe upon the rights of Canadian citizens with this gun ban, an infringement of rights which dates as far back as Pierre Trudeau’s creation of the Charter in 1982.

Since first elected in 2015, Justin reveled under the regurgitation of Trudeaumania, similar to his father in the 1960s. Justin was often seen snapping selfies, dancing at parties, and playing international Mr. Dress-up. In the 2019 federal election, many Canadians were very aware of the problems Trudeau and his elitist Liberal government caused with their dubious practices and policies. Despite winning the popular vote, however, the Conservative Party of Canada could not muster enough seats to vanquish the unscrupulous Liberals.
