Woken Promises author and presenter Mavros Whissell, P. Geo, is a Christian, father, and professional geologist. He lives in Sudbury, Ontario with his two children. Since 2015, Mavros has rededicated his life to faith through Christ to support true Christians near and far. He finds a strong connection with traditional conservatives and even libertarians through his continued studies. Mavros believes, identically to Edmund Burke, that the body of Christ, the Christian Church, is the necessary basis for a strong civil society.
