Episode 6 (Part I): Bending to Marxism

As if the removal of civil liberties from governments reacting to the novel coronavirus was not enough, North America was suddenly and violently attacked by a new wave of Marxists. Under the guise of the cleverly-worded title Black Lives Matter (BLM) a wing of the Marxist attack gained new life after the police killing of George Floyd on May 25, 2020. Streets in the US erupted with rioting and looting, defying covid-19 lockdowns and supposedly to protest racial injustice. In this first part, we look at just who BLM really are, including their academic Marxist roots, their inception, and their current leaders in North America. For this, we consult their own compilation of works in the book Until We are Free: Reflections on Black Lives Matter in Canada, edited by Rodney Diverlus, Sandy Hudson, and Syrus Marcus Ware. We compare and contrast the opinions of BLM activists against the publicly released data of the killings of Michael Brown and Jermaine Carby, which were the founding events of the Marxist BLM movement. Original air date: June 25, 2020. Running time 35 minutes 51 seconds.
