Totalitarian Kryptonite: Woken Promises: Episode 12 (Part I of II)

In part 1 of a 2 part mini-series, we examine the uncomfortable reality that North America is shifting with alarming inertia towards totalitarianism. Currently in Canada, we are experiencing a form of what can be considered 'soft totalitarianism'. Where is the proof for such a wild claim? With the help of author Rod Dreher's book: "Live Not by Lies," published in 2019, we begin critically examining modern-day similarities to the imposition of historical totalitarianism. To better understand this, we echo the voices of those interviewed by Dreher who grew up under Soviet-occupied Europe (after World War II). Special attention is given to anti-communist dissident Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn, as an example of how one man can stand up to a system of evil. We ignore such dissident voices at our own peril.
