The Good, the Bad, and the Immune: Woken Promises: Episode 24

Following in the sun-baked path of "Silicon Valley solutionism", technocrats like Elon Musk and Bill Gates challenge the notion of classical philanthropy. Is it possible to be a technocrat and a philanthropist? On the surface, it might seem so. Meanwhile, medical technocrats like Tony Fauci have used their authority to make key decisions during the pandemic, but do not seem to be exposed to the serious repercussions a bone fide politician must. Are these technocrats for real? Or are they just playing at being unaccountable "gods"? Do they really care about "saving lives"?
